Mary Ann Bergeron Hall of Fame

In 2022, the Henrico Area Mental Health and Development Services Board (currently chaired by former Sheriff Michael Wade) established the Mary Ann Bergeron Hall of Fame Award. This annual award recognizes individuals who have made significant contributions through services and commitment to the Board, the agency, and individuals and families.

This year’s recipient was awarded to Mrs. Alexis Piero (posthumously). Ms. Piero, a 4-year employee of the agency, spent her career with the Adult Outpatient Substance Use Team before her untimely death in November 2023.
